The Legacy of Weyanoke, an a cappella vocal ensemble, shares the “Coming Together” of the black (Africans) and the red (Native Americans), who blended history and culture 394 years ago when the first Africans settled in America in 1619 near the Weyanoke Indian Tribe in Charles City County. Learn the legacy through informal discussion, drumming, dancing and singing.
