Show/Hide

The Jordan-Newby Branch will be closed Saturday, October 28, due to the NSU Homecoming.

We've created a safe and fun place for teens to hang out, mess around and geek out! We're pulling out all the S-T-O-P-S (Science, Technology, and Other Productions) at all NPL locations. Look for new Teen Spaces and special programs!

We're the first library system in Virginia to join the YOUmedia network: a community-based learning opportunity for teens to dig into what they love with the support of peers and mentors from 30 institutions around the country. Our dedicated teen space at Slover Library includes a computer lab, gaming lounge, collaborative study rooms, an informal lounge area as well as a learning commons space.

YOUmedia is also mobile via circulating kits, including video and music production, circuit and microcomputers, virtual reality and more! Check the calendar below to catch one of these kits visiting our libraries.

Teens, attend one of our Teen Advisory Panels (TAP) at Slover Library to help shape our teen programming!
